• Review of "Kiddie Academy of Apopka" at Apopka

  As the saying goes: Don't judge a book by its cover! When I learned that a Kiddie Academy was opening in Apopka I became very excited. Having heard of their reputation in Clermont and being that this was a brand new facility, we booked a tour. The facility is beautiful, well organized, and well lit. The director and assistant director were very kind and warm. Ontop of that they had the Watch me Grow program that allowed us, as concerned parents, to monitor our child via live streams. The curriculum was also in line with what we wanted for our 2 year old son. However, we were soon to be disappointed. We tolerated the rough start and disorganization because everything there was new. New teachers, new facility, new technology, and new kids. Every week we had hoped it would get better but gradually it became worse. The teachers could not control a room of only 5 kids. One child specifically was overly aggressive and constantly hit other kids. After multiple escalations to the teachers and management nothing was done to resolve the unsafe environment my child was exposed to. We were even shut out of the Watch me Grow program because of voicing our concerns when the child went unchecked hitting another for over three minutes during nap time. From what I understand, DCF had to go to the school because of the incident a week later. It turns out that the school had never recorded the incident and reported it to the involved kids parents. I hope this serves as a warning for other parents that decide to use this daycare. Please be sure to monitor your child actively and trust but verify anything they say.

• Review of "Rock Springs Elementary School" at Apopka

  I absolutely love rock springs.. the teachers and staff are amazing!! I took my daughter out last year because we moved and I ended up putting her back at RSE because we missed it so much. I definitely would recommend this school... they really take the kids education seriously and they work great with the parents too... my daughter couldn't be happier... Mrs. Colon (1st grade) and Ms. Cook (2nd grade) are the best teachers we have ever had.

• Review of "Learning Tree Academy" at Apopka

  Both of my kids attend this school. I absolutely love it and so do my kids. I had prior bad experiences in another school that left my oldest terrified but learning tree academy has done so much for my son and gave him a whole new reason why to absolutely love school, wake up every morning excited to be coming to the learning tree academy and best of all they love and speak about GOD! it's amazing! I recommend this school to everyone. My son now is transitioning to kindergarten leaving his 2 year old brother behind at the Academy but I feel confident enough that he will do just fiNE because mrs shany and the whole staff is amazing!! God bless them all and I'm so thankful for them. Eachday I wake up I pray that God continue to bless them abundantly for being such a blessing to me and my kids.. thank you! Learning tree academy we love you!!
